Sadly, in January 2024, Boo was diagnosed with heart failure. It was hoped that she would be well enough to continue her agility/hoopers career for a while, but fate had other ideas and Boo left us for Rainbow Bridge on 26th June 2024.

When you're told your precious baby won't have a happy ending which will come all too soon, you try to make their last days, weeks, months or years full of fun times and great experiences. Boo ran her last agility class back in March and went clear, we went to the beach for a long weekend in May, June 1st she played to the crowd by showing off her agility skills at a local show, just 1 week later she ran her last hoopers class and won it, we had weekends away in the caravan and random trips out.

Boo was the cuddliest and most affectionate dog ever, she loved her family and was definitely in charge of the pack, keeping son, Flint, in line! This page will remain to showcase my beautiful Boopers who will be forever in our hearts.
Boo is our boomerang puppy and was returned to us when aged 9 months. I tried very hard to remain objective about her staying but she stole my heart and refused to even think about leaving.
She gave us the most wonderful litter of puppies by Minkynips What Yer Fink in August 2018 and we nearly lost them. She had an emergency C-section and afterwards totally rejected the pups. This had never happened to us before and hand feeding 8 puppies was exhausting.
After 2 days we persuaded her try to feed them. I don't blame her for not wanting to, it must've been very sore but with a lot of coaxing
she let them feed.
She was not a natural mother but by the time the
pups were 4 weeks old she would actively seek them
out to play. In the end she loved her babies and
was sad to see them go. Just as well Flint stayed
to keep her occupied.
Boo usually tries so hard in whatever she's doing
but she is just as happy to show you up and not
listen to a word you say. Frustrating, yes, but
most of the time I end up laughing at her. She can be such a clown sometimes and will then do
something so spectacular, she blows your mind!

Boo has been an amazing agility partner and has consistently took me past my yearly goals by winning up a grade each year. We have had lots of fun along the way, she has got me out of many scrapes during our partnership, its good that she is so capable and strong in agility. She still shocks me with her ability.
We made it to grade 6, now Hayley has achieved grade7 and champ with her.
I made the hard decision to let Hayley run her in agility as I just couldn't keep up and she deserves to progress further.
We have also taken to Hoopers which suits us both, with distance handling and lots of speed, Boo won into grade 2 in less than a year. We've won lots of 1st places (and many others) and I feel Hoopers has a lot to offer all dogs, especially as they get older.
