Oh my dear, dear Skye, you were a dog in a million. You gave us 15 wonderful puppies and I feel blessed to have shared so much with you over the past 14 years.

The good, the bad and down-right ugly, a snapped cruciate, pancreatitis, ketodiosis, mammary tumour and going blind through diabetes. You truly were a-maz-ing, even losing her sight did not stop this girl, she continued to join in with the gang and would not be left behind.

She just blew my mind with her determination to continue living her life to the full (living up to her name).

She qualified for Crufts in 2008 and handled by Hayley, aged just 10 years old, they made me so proud that day, competing with the

best on the big, green carpet.

Skye was from the first Bordertrix

litter and was destined to stay. She

loved agility, gaining many high places

and qualifying for finals at the Kennel

Club International Agility Festival with

Hayley on many occasions.

She is the only dog we will ever have that has known all our other dogs. With all who came before and will come after, there'll never be another like you <3

Today (31/05/2020) Hayley and I took Skye for her final journey to Rainbow Bridge. To be there when she came wriggling into the world, to holding her head as she slipped away, what an honour. No more worries, no more pain, sweet girl, run free with Sunnie, Buddy and Tips if you can find her :)

In 2006 Skye entered the world as she lived life, determined and noisy.

2007 she qualified for Crufts by gaining a first place at Richmond Champ Show

2008 she went to Crufts

2010 she had her first litter of 7 puppies to Bekkis Virtuoso

2011 she had her second litter of 6 puppies by Laetare Unleashed

2012 she snapped a cruciate

2013 after a major op and rehab Skye is back on the agility curcuit

2014 Skye has her 3rd and final litter of 2 puppies to Woolram Lothario

2015 Skye is diagnosed with diabetes and has minimal sight due to cataracts

2017 Skye is rushed to emergency vets and diagnosed with pancreatitus, then ketodiosis and is spayed

2018 on a routine check-up the Vet finds a mammary tumour and operates immediately.

2019 she falls into the River Nene and almost drowned

2020 she gets a bone stuck in her throat, it took 3 adults, 1 hour, a torch and pair of pliers to get it out!

Aged 14 years, 3 months and 14 days Skye was given sleep to save her from any further pain, run free my beautiful girl <3
